Back in the spring whenever the weather started heating up, the A/C tore up on us.
- It was very untimely and annoying because of course it stopped working as soon as we started to need it.
Around here, the weather starts heating up at the end of March and then it stays pretty hot until at least October. We live in a pretty warm climate, for the most part. People tend to worry a lot more about their central air conditioning systems in their homes than their furnace systems, in other words. So whenever our air conditioning system stopped working right when the weather was heating up outside, we panicked. We knew that we had a very long hot summer ahead of us and that we were definitely going to be needing a fully functioning central air conditioning system in our house. We called up the local HVAC company to schedule an air conditioning repair, and they came out the next week to work on it for us. In the days while we were waiting around for our appointment, we had a terrible time. I find it really hard to sleep when I’m too hot at night and I’m just used to having the air conditioning on. Thank goodness they were able to fit us in when they did, though, because the temperatures started soaring just after that. We ended up having the hottest spring on record this past year! I’m glad that the A/C tore up at the beginning of the season instead of later on because the weather just got hotter and hotter after that.
