Temperature rollercoaster

I very rarely get sick, but when I do, I get really sick.

I turn into a miserable, pathetic human being.

Earlier this weekend, I was sick. I had a terrible headache, and I felt as if I were about to throw up. I did get it, and then I threw up what felt like all the food I had eaten for in the recent weeks. I felt very heated, so I went to my thermostat and turned it down several degrees. Then, I grabbed my pillow and blanket and headed directly to the ground. I was best suited under an air vent, Icould feel the air conditioning pouring over the ductwork onto my skin, and for a little while, I was comfortable. But within a few minutes, though, I began to get uncomfortably cold, so I returned to the thermostat to turn it up a few degrees and turn down the air conditioning. I went on the other side of the loveseat, farther away from where the air conditioning was pouring out. I was again comfortable for a while, but that comfort did not last long at all before I got hot again. I turned the air conditioning up all over again. This cycle continued throughout the day. I was cold, then hot, then cold, then hot once again. I turned up the air conditioning, turned off the air conditioning, then turned it on again. All I could keep my mind on was sleeping and smart thermostats. I knew I had seen a display on smart thermostats in a nearby home improvement store, and I was intrigued by the ability of being able to adjust your thermostat remotely. A smart thermostat would have been so nice to get while I was sick!
