My poor uncle just told us that he has seven to ten days left to live after getting a diagnosis of pancreas cancer a few weeks ago.
- He is 73 years old and was a smoker up until about twelve years ago when he quit, so I guess maybe this disease could have come from all of those years of smoking but I’m not sure.
I just know that I will never see him again and can’t make it over to see him now because I am overseas and don’t have the cash to get back home to the States. Heating and cooling work keeps me busy here but I really don’t have much HVAC work money saved now, seeing that I was just in the States two months ago and spent a lot of money while I was there. I may not be able to go back home till winter time, but I could end up moving back there for good if my band is not moving in the right direction over here by then. I work for a local contractor when I am back home and I may work for her if I decide to move back, doing mainly furnace filter sales and a/c repair for her business. I will decide at the end of this year about whether or not I will move back home, and hopefully my band will be moving ahead and I can stay here to pursue my dreams. I do a/c installs here and have been working for this new contractor for a few years here now.
