There’s this local bar that I go to on the weekends, to hang out with friends.
It is a great time all around, but the air quality there can periodically get pretty bad, this is because they have no air purification, and they still allow smoking in there.
The combination of things is what periodically causes the poor air quality! When the air quality gets really poor in the bar, I will periodically go home early, because it just starts making me feel sick. I do not want to be around that if I do not have to be. It ruins an otherwise great night out! If only they could get some kind of air purification in there or restrict smoking to outside the front door. I know that puts a damper on fun for many; smoking and drinking have long gone together. But it would highly improve the air quality all around the site. That would be the best thing they could do to improve the air quality – just ban smoking in the bar. Getting some kind of air purification could work to a degree, but if they are still allowing smoking to go on in the bar, it will not do much good. Because smoking around an air purification system makes it not work so great. You have to change the air filter, more often than not. But I will just love the bar on the days that the air quality is not so bad! And just hope that maybe eventually they will come to the decision to just ban smoking.
