No AC while stuck in traffic

Fortunately the problem was a fairly simple fix.

I’ve had a couple of major setbacks with my truck during the last week. The truck is approximately 10 years outdated and I don’t perform proper service. It honestly costs a lot of currency to have all of the systems checked all the time and I can barely afford to pay the payment on the truck and the insurance. Close to a week ago, I was standing in traffic on the freeway and it was particularly overheated outside. It was a truly overheated day. When the AC equipment in the truck started to feel somewhat warm, I adjusted the dial for the temperature to blow air more heavily… Even on the highest maximum AC equipment setting, the air was still far too warm. After the AC equipment finally stopped altogether, the truck was totally hot. I wanted to roll down the windows, however I was stuck in traffic and realized it wouldn’t help much. I particularly had a miserable end to my afternoon and I had to take the vehicle to have the cooling equipment fixed a few afternoons later. Fortunately the problem was a fairly simple fix. My vehicle was low on refrigerant! Once the refrigerant was totally filled, cold air started to pour out of the air vents again. Now that the cooling equipment has been fixed properly, I am starting to have some crazy complications with the engine. It seems essentially like everything is going downhill at the same time. The warranty on my vehicle expired last year and it feels basically like I have had a single problem after another since the warranty expired.
