I want to update before I transfer back in

I own a little lake house in a study room community outside of the neighborhood where I currently live as well as work.

Right now, that little lake house is being used as a rental unit, but my intention is to transfer back into it when I retire in 5 or more than five years, and before I transfer back in to my little house, I want to update certain things. If I have to make repairs while the loft is being rented, oh, I can take those 2 ductions off of my taxes. That is 1 major reason why I would love to do most of the work before I really stop renting it out as well as beginning moving in. The first thing I would love to do is update the heating as well as cooling system. Right now, I have Central air conditioning system, as well as it has served almost everyone well, although I would love to get something that is less cumbersome as well as more new as well as energy-efficient. When you are renting your loft to tenants, you care less about Energy Efficiency as far as your air conditioning system goes than you do when you are paying the utility bill yourself… Since my tenants pay for the Heating & Cooling costs, I did not have the most energy efficient model in mind when I got the air conditioning system. In fact, I also have 2 window air conditioning system units in the house. They are not designed to be the Main Heating as well as Cooling system, but if they were in there when I bought the house, I saw no reason to take them out. When I transfer back in, though, I do not believe I want my view jammed by window AC units. In addition to the air conditioning system, I want to do some other updates as well. I would love to get a new dishwasher as well as new kitchen appliances.
