Summertime comes with a mixed bin of feelings.
On the one hand, I’m stoked for the kids as they are out of school plus enjoying their summer break. I love to watch them get into all the outdoor stuff that I too loved when I was their age. But I’m also not super glad with how much heat plus humidity all of us have to deal with in this region either. That’s consistently been something that I’ve had to find a middle ground on since becoming a homeowner. On the one hand, you just don’t want to rely so much onthat heating and A/C cooling too much. That’s a for sure ticket to spending way too much currency on central air conditioning. At the same time, there really isn’t much point in having state of the art residential heating and cooling and not availing a singleself of it. So I do my best to simply walk the line on that part. Keeping the thermostat at a reasonable setting plus prepping the beach house a bit are really all it takes. But this summer, I’ve loved a recent and necessary HVAC update when it comes to the central air conditioning. After saving up for this update, all of us are now enjoying the best indoor air pollen levels a single person can find. That’s due to the fact that we now have a whole beach house air purification unit installed inside our HVAC system. This thing really destroys all the airborne contaminants that otherwise pollute our indoor air and the difference in the air is just remarkable. I can’t tell you how nice the air smells plus just how clean and crisp the air is. That sure helps when you have your beach house all sealed up to help improve the efficiency of that good old HVAC system.
