They literally do not understand that climate control is a total luxury, because they take it for granted
When I was a child every one of us had to walk to school completely barefoot, in the snow, uphill both ways! And we still never complained about it, however, have you ever heard anyone talk like this, about how horrible kids today are and how fantastic they used to be? I have found that this is actually true across all generations. The older folks always take a crap all over the younger folks. When I become a seasoned man, I’m pretty sure I will be no different. In fact I am already seeing brief glimpses of it in my attitude and my actions. I heard my friend’s little one complain about how sizzling it was inside, and the temperature control was showing 71 degrees. I told the child it wasn’t hot, it was 71, and he scoffed at me, saying that the temperature control should never be set higher than 71 degrees. I honestly came close to smacking the kid, who has never paid a utility bill in his life, nor has he known more than a few hours without having climate control! Kids like that have air conditioning at their residence, at their school, while shopping, and in the transportation between everything. They literally do not understand that climate control is a total luxury, because they take it for granted. If I had the opportunity to do so I would honestly show the child some difficult love and choose to detach the air conditioner machine undoubtedly for a few weeks. If not the whole thing, then at least a key Heating as well as A/C component that would make the HVAC machine inoperable. Give him a few weeks without any air conditioner machine and see if he swings his tune!
