I often fall behind on daily tasks because I try to do everything on my own.
I’ve had to look for ways to streamline and expedite. I’ve needed to hire out some of my responsibilities. One of the best decisions was hiring a commercial cleaning service. I used to be my own cleaning lady. I was able to handle the basic maintenance that keeps the home neat and orderly. I don’t have the time to do the deep cleaning that regularly needs to get done. Those things keep getting pushed further down the list and never get accomplished. I just can’t seem to find time on the weekend to move furniture, wash light fixtures, launder the bed linens and clean behind the refrigerator. It occurred to me that trying to handle the house cleaning was adding a tremendous amount of stress to my life. Why should I sacrifice my weekends to clean the house? That’s no way to relax and recharge after a long, strenuous week at work. So I decided to hire an actual cleaning service. They handle all of the cleaning responsibilities for me. From floor stripping and waxing to deep carpet cleaning, dusting and window washing, they do a fantastic job. It is money well spent. Because I am less stressed, I am sleeping better at night and more productive at work. I don’t cringe when I step inside my home. I actually feel relief because everything is so clean and perfect.
