During the summer, my husband gives out air filters

He feels like it is something that he should just do for people who might not be able to afford to change their air filters in their home regularly

My husband Joe always gives out air filters to people in the community during the summer. He always says that he feels like it is his duty to the community to help people out with their indoor air quality in their homes since he gets a really great deal on air filters since he buys them in bulk. Joe owns his own commercial HVAC company here in town, and he has been an HVAC professional for the past 20 years or so. He really loves his job, and my husband is always looking for different ways to give back to the community every year. A couple of years ago, he donated a brand new high efficiency heating and cooling system to our local baseball team as the grand prize for one of their raffles. They raised all kinds of money with that raffle and he got a lot of positive press in the media around here in our city. I guess that was a win-win type of situation for everyone involved. But when it comes to giving out air filters during the summer, Joe really does not get anything in return. He feels like it is something that he should just do for people who might not be able to afford to change their air filters in their home regularly. He says he thinks that it is a good reminder to everyone that they need to change their air filter, and giving one to them just makes him feel like he is doing a service for the entire community. He is a great guy.
