My dog needs a place to stay while I have surgery for about a week.
I have looked all over at the various dog kennels in my city, and to compound the issue, I have a dog who is quite afraid of other dogs and there can often be fights if she gets scared enough. She does not need to be running around an open field with a whole bunch of other dogs, especially smaller ones whom she seems to see as prey. I saw a lot of kennels, and most of them housed the animals outside in little cement and fencing sort of cages. There was no air conditioning, no music, nothing like that. Then I happened upon a place that calls itself a doggie Resort. In this place, each dog has its own little room with a door that they can use to go outside and run up and down their own particular run. It was very cute and pleasant, and inside each doggy’s room there was a TV to keep him or her company. That was all really cool but the best part about it was that each dog had its own Heating and Cooling. These little HVAC systems not only kept the place at a comfortable temperature for the animals, but they also had fabulous filtering systems that kept the smell from becoming gross.This kennel has a lot going for it, but by far the most important thing to me is the air conditioning. My dog lives inside my house now, and she has never had to live outside where there is no AC. I would never leave my dog outside where Mother Nature’s heating is going on. Once I learned about the little mini split AC units. Oh, that is when I realized that is the kennel for my dog.
