Always breaking down

The weather is just starting to cool down around here & so the other evening, I turned on my gas fireplace for the first time this year.

  • Or at least, I tried to turn my gas fireplace on, and nothing honestly happened when I switched it back on & I wasn’t honestly sure what to do, and i have to disclose that I’m a little bit intimidated by the gas that runs the gas fireplace, however anything that involves gas, even the gas stove in my family room, scares me.

I don’t even want to mess around with it to try and take care of it, but since the weather was cooling down, I honestly wanted to build a fire in the fireplace so I went ahead & called the HVAC company to see if they could send someone out for a service appointment, but they said that they would send an HVAC corporation right out to service the fireplace so I sat down to wait; Usually, if I have to call the heating and cooling dealer, I make sure that I set a time where they come when my hubby will be condo rather than just me. That way, I won’t have to deal with them or answer questions about the HVAC system. I don’t guess a single thing about our heating system, or a/c system, or our fireplace & so I usually assume dumb when the HVAC corporation shows up & starts asking myself and others questions. This time, though, I was willing to deal with the service appointment. After all, my hubby wasn’t the one who wanted the fire in the fireplace!
