I loved my current position with the dealer and I loved my current home.
I had made a lot of friends, and I met someone who was originally from my area.
It didn’t take myself and others long to get used to the heat since I had excellent a/c in my home. When Winter time came, but, I got a bit homesick. I wasn’t prepared to need a/c all year round. I missed my mountains and going out to make snow angels in the first snow of the season. I missed the fireplace I had in my apartment, and turning it on early in the Winter time season, just to save the oil furnace. I sat in my current lake home feeling so homesick that I was crying when there was a knock on the door. The man I had met who hailed from my area of the north, was standing outside with a single rose. He said he thought I may be getting homesick with Christmas coming. He consistently got a bit nostalgic when this time of year arrived. The two of us talked about the snow and going up to mountains and skiing. The two of us laughed about how every one of us would stand in front of the large fireplaces and drink boiling chocolate. He excused himself and went back out to his car. After lugging a large box into my kitchen, he smiled. Inside the box was a fake fireplace, however it worked. He said he thought this would make it a little easier for me! I hadn’t realized what a nice man he was until then. To believe that he purchased myself and others a fireplace without expecting anything in return.
