It was the end of the summer season, and I was in the market for a new air conditioning unit.
I was sure that since it was fall, I would be able to find an air conditioning unit at a fairly cheap price.
I didn’t want to spend a lot on an HVAC unit knowing that I was going to use the unit for only half of the year. I went online to look for the nearest HVAC store. I was sure I would be able to find a good sale. I found one HVAC showroom, but they didn’t show a single air conditioning unit in their showroom. The HVAC company had a showroom, but it was mostly for HVAC add-ons. They showed the air purification system, air filters they had on sale, and they featured a bathroom with the new ductless HVAC system. I wasn’t interested in any of these. I finally called my local HVAC company and talked to the person who answered the phone. I told her I wanted to buy a new air conditioner, and I was hoping to purchase one that was going out of style and on sale. She informed me they didn’t have their new AC unit in yet, but if I wanted to wait another month, they should be getting them. At that time, I should be able to pick up last year’s model and it would be cheaper. As much as I hated waiting, I took her advice. If I really wanted a cheaper air conditioning unit, I was just going to need to suck it up and wait for another month.
