Every Wednesday day our Dad & dad head down to the local farmers market to sell the fresh farm apples that they have grown on their own orchard.
Now that I have moved back closer to apartment to be near them as they get older I have started to help them with the setting up & selling portion of farmers markets.
I expected numerous different things when starting to help out at the farmers market, but a single thing that I didn’t see coming was how chilly it would be! The people I was with and I are situated in a section of the country that is chilly almost all year long, so even while I was in the farmers markets the people I was with and I are forced to bundle up, and due to the fact that I have been residing down south for several years it has been a honestly hard adjustment phase for myself and others & I have had to find ways to stay hot while I was in our shift other than wearing extra layers. I was able to reach out to our friend who works as a certified HVAC repair tech in village & see if she could help myself and others out, she ended up telling myself and others that our best bet would be investing in a mini portable HVAC device that I could bring to farmers markets, and they were somewhat affordable to buy, & thanks to the discount that our friend was able to get myself and others I only paid a few hundred dollars for it. I have only had it with myself and others for a short time but this mini portable HVAC device has proven to be a honestly useful tool. My Dad & dad still gives myself and others a hard time whenever I show up to the apple stand with our trusty HVAC device in hand, although I could care less as long as I no longer have to freeze our butt off.
