Turning our basement into a livable space

I have been planning on making our basement into a living space for quite some time now.

It would take a lot of work, although I was willing to put in the work.

As it currently stood, it was dark and damp and kind of creepy looking with undoubtedly terrible lighting. I started by having the lights replaced, no more dim and flickering lights and instead bright bulbs that definitely lit up the room. The next step was to repaint everything. I painted the walls a bright pale white and it looked so much better than the drap grey that was there before. Then I had some of the locations repaired, a few holes in the wall were filled and a leak in the roof was repaired as well, but some of the last steps were adding carpet over the hard floor and moving in comfortable furniture and a TV. The more progress I made the more it was starting to think care about a room and not a creepy basement. I still felt care about I was missing something and then it dawned on me, I needed a heating and cooling system. I found just what I was looking for too, it was a perfect little zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning system. This way anyone that wanted to be down there could control their own un-even temperatures to their heating or cooling preferences. After all was finished I tested it out for myself and legitimately loved how everything had come out. It was just care about any other room now and the creepiness was gone. The zone controlled Heating and Air Conditioning system worked beautifully as I watched a movie, it kept me nice and cool and comfortable.
