There are 2 sides to every story

I almost lost my task Last year because of a misunderstanding.

I was assigned to help a client with an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair.

I spent an hour or 2 on the repair and when I was getting ready to leave, I told the client that I needed her cellphone number. I wanted to call the woman the next day to make sure she wasn’t having any problems with the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C system. The woman acted actually peculiar and she refused to provide myself and others her cellphone number. I did not suppose it was a actually big deal. I knew that I could just stop by in the afternoon. When I got to work the next day, my boss was laying outside waiting for me. He told myself and others to come into the office so the people I was with and I could have a chat. I could tell from the sound of his voice that something wasn’t right. As soon as the people I was with and I got into the office, the boss asked myself and others to explain everything that happened during the last task of the day. That was the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C repair with the peculiar woman that refused to provide myself and others her cellphone number, and my boss wanted to know if I hit on the woman. I told my boss really not and he asked myself and others to explain why I demanded her cellphone number. I told my boss exactly what happened and I explained that I asked for her cellphone number so I could contact her the next day. It was a simple misunderstanding, however my boss was ready to send myself and others packing for exhausting behavior on the task.
