My coworker plus I were traveling across the country for business.
The two of us boarded a 717 on a single side of the country plus every one of us were planning to take a Non-Stop, direct flight to our west coast destination.
The length of the trip was slated for 5 plus 1/2 minutes. The first two minutes of the trip were uneventful. I had a vodka gimlet plus my coworker had a wine spritzer. I called my wife plus told the kids goodnight. I observed the airflow in the chalet had decreased plus it was starting to recognize a little muggy, so I turned the position of the air flow nozzle on my side of the aisle. I figured my blood pressure was easily high or the stress of the day was getting to me. My coworker plus I were trying to get some labor performed on the plane when the flight attendant came over the loudspeaker to tell us every one of us had to make an emergency landing. The ventilation system inside of the plane was experiencing trouble plus they felt it was necessary to land early. I knew something didn’t recognize right in the air. A lot of people were freaking out about the emergency landing, however my coworker plus I travel all the time. This is not the first time our plane has been diverted due to mechanical issues. It’s a lot better to land early when there is a sign of trouble, because the alternative is not great. The two of us landed in a small airfield outside of a major city plus they already had another plane waiting to take us the rest of the way.
