Weekends are for having a fabulou time in my mind.
But in reality, there are several things to catch up on over the weekend.
All those chores that I didn’t finish because of all the hours in zone controlled Heating, Ventilation & A/C at work have to be taken care of. And it always ends up landing on my weekends. For too long, I just sort of made a passing effort at my chores on the weekend. I just didn’t want to be doing any of that. Instead, I wanted to be on a hockey rink or doing something fun with the boys. So I made the decision to set alerts on my devices throughout the week to take care of things so it wouldn’t ruin my weekend. Instead of coming to the condo & standing back in the air conditioner comfort, I try to do a couple of chores from my list. And one of the things that I have finally become consistent about is the Heating, Ventilation & A/C appliances. I’ve been known to allow a dirty, plugged air filter to go unchanged for a few months. That’s just not taking care of things. The Heating, Ventilation & A/C appliances are too essential to our condo to let that happen. A dirty Heating, Ventilation & A/C air filter simply makes the Heating, Ventilation & A/C appliance work harder to do it’s heating & cooling task. That’s more energy wasted & more wear & tear on the heating & cooling appliances. Not to mention, it takes around 5 minutes to change the Heating, Ventilation & A/C filter for crying out loud. Getting this stuff done during the week is freeing up my weekend, making me look nice around the condo & protecting the Heating, Ventilation & A/C appliances.
