I am outraged & genuinely aggravated about the current rules & regulations
I have always been genuinely comfortable at work, because our co-workers & I can adjust the temperature control & the indoor un-even temperatures. When it is genuinely warm outside, the two of us keep the temperature control setting a few degrees lower. When it is genuinely cold outside, the two of us keep the temperature control setting a few degrees higher. It has always been a major perk to change the indoor un-even temperatures. All of that is no longer an option after our co-workers & I came to labor on Sunday morning & the two of us discovered a lock on the temperature control in our office. I was the first guy in the room & it was a little cold in the building. I instantly went to the temperature control to turn up the heat. I discovered a heavy plastic box installed around the temperature control. There was a walk on the side of the box. There was a note on the wall above the temperature control, then people in the office are no longer allowed to adjust the un-even temperatures. The service staff will be the only people with a key to the temperature control & the temperature setting in the office will be 76° from now on. I am outraged & genuinely aggravated about the current rules & regulations. Hardly any of people are threatening to quit. I am not the only guy that is aggravated, so I strongly recognize the corporate office will change their mind before they end up with a lawsuit or trouble from the union, however both of us have genuinely few perks at labor & comfortable indoor air un-even temperatures is one thing that every guy in the office treasures.
