The humidity down here is no joke and we all hate it with a passion during the summer.
My son is working on a tree farm. Usually he likes working there and being outside, but during the summer, the temperature gets really hot down here in the southern part of the country where we live. He says it’s much harder to work there in the summer when the temperatures outside are very hot. I guess that makes sense because I certainly wouldn’t want to be working outside when the sun is beating down and the humidity is terrible. That’s how it is down here where we live in the summer, though. Most people down here where we live use their air conditioning systems like crazy throughout the summer. And honestly it’s not because of the heat for the most part. It’s more because of the humidity. The humidity down here is no joke and we all hate it with a passion during the summer. I personally don’t even understand how my son can stand to work outside during the high temperatures and the humidity that we have! I told him that it would be one thing if there were portable air conditioning systems here and there throughout the farmland area. At least if there were some portable air conditioning systems, then he would be able to cool off once in a while. The way it is now, he is so hot and worn out by the time he gets home that he doesn’t want to do anything else except sit in front of the TV In front of the A/C for the rest of the night. I can’t say that I blame him, though!
