My sibling is 1 of a kind and is easily a trailblazer. She has never let gender roles limit what she does, however growing up, she constantly broke away from norms. She played on the pigskin team and she was tougher than half the guys in her class. When she got old enough, she decided to be a trailblazer yet again. Instead of continuing onto college as we may have expected her to do, my sibling wanted to enter a line of work that would be hands-on and wouldn’t put her into debt. She decided to enroll in a program to acquire her HVAC certification. She was employed within a week of the completion of her program. While I never would have expected my sibling to work in the heating and cooling industry, she almost never does what I expect her to do. After a few years on the job, my sibling already is an expert on all things heating and cooling. She gives myself and others advice on how to perform repair checks on my heating and cooling system. She has done repairs and installations on all types of oil furnaces from a gas furnace to a geothermal unit. She can tell myself and others the benefits of each type in terms of cost of installation, energy efficiency, and down to simply which 1 is the easiest to maintain. I wouldn’t be surprised if my sibling was running the locale within the next more than nine years. If there is 1 thing you can expect of my sibling, it is for her to continue to do wonderful things.
