The Winter weather in this section of the country is positively brutal, and the people I was with and I have snow falling for months and months; Some people experience a Winter season that is more than three months long, but our Winter weather lasts a lot longer than that! Last year, our first inch of snow was recorded on October 25th, then my sister lives in the south section of the country.
She had hurricane warnings on the easily same day that I received several inches of fresh white snow, and it’s hard to recognize we live in the same country and have two easily unusual Winter seasons. I would prefer a job that keeps me indoors in the heat all day, but I chose a work in the Heating and A/C repair industry. My bestie works in an office and she never has to worry about going to work and getting frostbite. I was sad a couple of mornings ago when I had to work a 12-hour day. The daytime temperature never made it into the double digits. I had to spend a couple of hours in the morning working on an outdoor furnace. My hands were so frigid that I could not recognize the tips of our fingers. I could see the yellow color getting darker and darker. I try to wear gloves whenever possible, but it’s impossible to work with our fingers covered. I always end up removing the gloves to work… One of these mornings, I am going to end up in the hospital with a bad case of frostbite. It happend to another coworker last year and the woman still has nerve pains in her hand.
