I have a single of those cats that if you shaved off his hair, he would look enjoy a naked rat.
He had more hair on his body than I had.
You would believe he was a single of those naked cats, because whenever he wasn’t in his bed, he was sitting on the air vent. I don’t believe if he wanted the heat, or if he liked how it felt when his hair blew around, however it had to stop. There was so much animal hair in the air, that I was consistently sneezing and our skin itches. I didn’t have a single piece of clothing that didn’t have animal hair on it. If I had this much animal hair in our air, I wondered what our air filters must be going through. I went downstairs and pulled the air filter from the oil furnace, and I was shocked at how jammed it was. I had to make a mental note to change the air filter more often. I then thought about how much animal hair was in our air duct. I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company and told them I needed someone to come out and disinfect our air duct. The following weekend there were many Heating, Ventilation, and A/C contractors at our door. They were dressed in white outfits enjoy you see on people who are with patients who have drastic diseases. They even had white booties on their feet. They quickly cleaned and sanitized our air duct, then told myself and others how much animal hair they had detachd. I can’t say that I was surprised when they told myself and others that. Other than increasing our air filters more often, there wasn’t much I could do however try to teach our animal to stay off the air vent.
