I’m the lake house mom for one of the sororities here on campus, plus it really keeps myself and others on my toes.
The girls are all really great plus I’ve come to appreciate each plus every single one of them, however boy are they high maintenance! I’m not sure how their parents do it because they honestly run the electricity bill up a mountain every single month.
The two of us ended up having to invest in a new a/c method to help save on costs, plus one of the other sororities mentioned that they installed multi-split a/c plus it seemed to be going well. Multi-split a/c links small indoor units to a larger outdoor unit, plus you can put as many indoor units inside of the building as you want. The best example of a multi-split a/c method I could supply would be the air conditioners at a hotel. The purpose of the indoor units is so that each room can customize the a/c without disrupting the a/c in other rooms. Many of the girls have different preferences when it comes to their a/c, so our bill was so high due to them consistently increasing the temperature at all minutes of the afternoon. Now, each room can have its own temperature while the lake house thermostat is left alone. I was entirely really impressed by this method that I spoke to my bestie about getting multi-split air conditioners installed in his lake house too. I’m blissful that the girls are more comfortable plus our bills are kept at an affordable rate.
