I run the gas oil furnace when it reaches yearly 40’s

I live in a area of the country where there is a lot of cold weather while I was in the fall, winter, & even Springtime weeks. Wintertide can last a genuinely long time. There is often snow on the ground in September & every one of us can experience storms as late as May. A lot of people flock to this area for the Wintertide activities like skiing, sledding, & snowboarding. There are a number of resorts in the area. I do my best to keep the energy bills as low as possible while I was in the Wintertide weeks. I have a tune-up performed on the gas oil furnace before the coldest area of the season begins. The tune-up is performed by a professional service business in neighborhood with excellent reviews for customer service & quality of repairs. I also try not to use the gas oil furnace until the yearly temperatures are in the 40s. A lot of people suppose that is too low, but I entirely cannot afford to spend $500 a month on the energy bills for many weeks in a row. I use the oil furnace as much as necessary & the rest of the time I use a wood stove. The wood stove provides a superb deal of comfort in the kitchen & the front parts of the house. I do not entirely use the rest of the house, so I do not mind if the back family rooms are drafty or cold. The only time they ever get used is times when business comes to visit for a few mornings. That does not occur while I was in the Wintertide weeks.
