By the time I get back the cold apartment will help with cooling me down enough where I’m not hot for that long
Today was Sunday, which meant that it was laundry day. Laundry day is my least favorite day for two reasons. One is because it’s Sunday, which means I have to work tomorrow, but also because I really hate doing laundry. I live in an apartment complex, and since my apartment does not have a washing and drying machine, I have to rely on the building’s washer and dryer. So every week I take my clothes over in a bag and pay to use the washer and the dryer. Both the washer and dryer take over an hour to clean my clothes, and I can’t leave to go do anything else because my place is kind of known for having clothes snatched. I have never understood why someone would take the clothes of another person, but that was a real problem here. So that means I am stuck in the overheated room doing nothing for the next 2 hours. The room was always overheated due to the running dryers. I have learned that it is best I leave the air conditioning on full blast before I leave my apartment, that way the A/C will make my place cold. By the time I get back the cold apartment will help with cooling me down enough where I’m not hot for that long. I just can’t wait to get my own home and have my own washer and dryer. Then I can clean my clothes in my own air conditioned environment, and no longer worry about overheated rooms. I unfortunately am in no position to buy a home, but while I am sitting in that room, it’s something I like to think about.
