Complaints with air quality are caused by a/c

Last summer, I dealt with concerns with indoor air pollen levels, and at first, I couldn’t figure out what was causing them, then no matter how vigorously or often I cleaned, there was a faint musty smell & constant dust, and my kids were consistently complaining of stuffy noses, sore throats & itchy eyeah.

My wife suffered frequent headaches.

I finally shut off the a/c & opened the windows to air out the house. The influx of fresh air made a pressing improvement. My family was no longer sneezing & coughing. We all slept better at night & had more energy while in the morning. However, as the outside temperature heated up & humidity increased, the apartment hastily felt overheated & sticky. As soon as I closed the windows, lowered the thermostat & started the a/c, all of our concerns returned! Changing the air filter in the cooling idea didn’t help. When I hired a licensed HVAC contractor for service, she found that the inner laborings of the a/c were overrun with dust, mold growth, bacterial growth & even algae. She said that every time it cycled on, the cooling idea was spreading harmful allergens throughout the house. My family was breathing them in & getting sick. She spent several hours cleaning all of the components with a chemical disinfectant. She also advocated that I enroll in an annual repair idea to have the cooling idea ran tests on every Spring. The professional upkeep of the device solved all of our concerns with it. I also noticed a considerable decrease in our bi-weekly electric bills.
