Changing seasons messing with temperature controls

Generally, I get pretty glad when there is a nice day outside.

I am quite outdoorsy and I love to walk on trails with our cat, even when it is cold outside.

That being said, I actually dislike it when the weather flips back and forth; For example, at the beginning of this week, it was snowing out and undoubtedly cold. The following day, the weather was unseasonably warm. So sizzling that you didn’t even need to wear a jacket. This irritates myself and others because I love to keep our home at a comfortable temperature, obviously, I started off the week with our heat on, since the home would have been cold without it. I love to stick with our routines and not swing temperature controls back and forth, but not only is it a hassle, however it also uses copious amounts of energy which drives up our heating and cooling expenses. When the weather warmed up, I had to turn the heat off entirely. It was still sizzling in our home and I didn’t want to turn on the cooling system, so I was forced to open a window. Within a day or several, the temperature dropped back down to where it should be this time of year, only now our home was harshly cold having not run the heat in a few afternoons. It took a few fifths of running the heat before the home got to its official comfortable temperature.
