You would think that I would learn my lesson… And then last week I decided I needed to ask a friend for help finding a high-quality central heating, cooling, and air quality control specialist. For about a year I have been suffering with low quality indoor air. No matter what I set the thermostat to, it felt like my heating and cooling system decided to improvise. If I turned the indoor air temperature up, it might get colder. If I turn to the indoor air temperature down, there was no telling if the AC unit was going to respond. There were hot and cold uneven temperatures throughout my entire house. My energy bill was always way too high and my indoor air had a strange smell. I knew it was time to call a local heating, cooling, and ventilation repair shop but I didn’t know who I should trust. I asked my friend for a great recommendation… And received a piss-poor one. When the heating and cooling technician arrived at my house he was immediately rude and abrupt. He grunted at me about my air conditioning system and essentially pushed me out of the way to reach the air-handling device. By the time he left my home, the indoor air felt exactly the same. Now I need to go to a different friend for a new HVAC recommendation.
