I am painting our dad’s condo and our stepmom is paying myself and others well for it.
I am going to use the cash to pay for our rental automobile and gas for the extra month I am staying here to negate the cost of the extra time I’ve decided to spend here. I just need to find a little more job to cover the $790 one way ticket back overseas, which is double of what I paid for a round trip ticket, but the ticket was non changeable so I need to buy another ticket home. I can do some heating and A/C jobs at the local business as they do repair calls and repair in the shop on window AC units and space gas furnaces for their shoppers. I am relaxing at repairing things because I was a mechanical engineer and also used to do a lot of repairs on engines and motors when I was younger. I no longer work in the heating and A/C supplier as an engineer but do prefer to work in heating and A/C technology when I have the opportunity because it really is quite fun for me. My brother and I used to take our engines out of our cars, when the people I was with and I were younger, and rebuild them on the garage floor of our parent’s condo to their dismay. This is where I got a lot of experience working on heat pumps and air conditioning systems for cars because the people I was with and I had older cars and there were constant issues with the heating and A/C systems in older cars. They didn’t even have AC yet in our 1968 Firebird, ouch!
