We have really got to get a new furnace before the baby is born in the next couple of months.
My wife keeps on bugging me about it and I know that she is right, of course.
She has been nesting for a long time now, but I haven’t really been doing all that much. I have been working out in the yard and getting everything ready for the winter, since the weather is cooling down outside. However, my wife has really been working a whole lot inside the house and she’s gotten the nursery ready and all of the baby stuff prepared. She is really stressing out about the fact that our furnace is not working. I told her that we still have time to get the furnace fixed before the baby is born, but she thinks that if we don’t get it done right away that it’s not going to happen. I think that she has nightmares about our new child freezing inside of our house because the HVAC system isn’t working or something. I told her to stop worrying about it, but that doesn’t seem to help. When I told her to calm down the other day, that seemed to make it even worse! I just don’t understand women, especially when they are pregnant. Anyway, long story short, I guess I’m going to have to call up the local company and have them come out and do a furnace repair for us this week. If I don’t get it done soon, I think that my wife is going to kick me out.
