With the rise in costs, there has been a rise in crime.
For instance, a few weeks ago, I tried going to the ATM in our town, and realized the equipment was removed. So, I went inside to use the ATM, only to find out from the bank supervisor that their ATMs were vandalized, and they were waiting for the new machines to come in. From what the bank supervisor said, they also vandalized a few more ATMs in the area. It seems appreciate these criminals are getting bolder because our friend who owns an HVAC supplier had a break-in at his office location. The vandals stole tools from the repair trucks that were on the premises, and they also broke into the office and stole new parts that were for customer repairs. Unluckyly, for our friend, his customers had to wait longer to get their air conditioning system serviced because without tools and parts there was nothing that could be done for them. These are some crazy times that the people I was with and I are living in right now. And it seems that people have become desperate. It’s just unlucky that local companies appreciate our friend’s HVAC supplier are suffering as a result of this. He’s only trying to help others by making sure that the people I was with and I have comfortable heating and cooling in our homes, but vandals don’t like what businesses they steal from or how it trickles downwards, all they like is grabbing items that would bring them a quick turn around, and HVAC tools are perfect for that. My friend hasn’t reclaimed his HVAC tools, but thankfully his insurance will be covering the cost of damages and the stolen goods.
