The psychiatrist wanted new leather chairs for the office.

I thought all shrinks had plush leather chaise lounges for their patients.

Maybe I had seen too many outdated films where psych patients were relaxing on a long leather couch plus spilling their guts to the shrink. When I was talking to my psychiatrist about what she wanted for her office, Doc told me she wanted two comfortable leather chairs for her patients plus whoever they brought with them. Doc already has a leather swivel chair for himself, plus a big mahogany desk. Doc hoped I could find some leather chairs that matched her personal leather chair; As a pro interior designer, I wanted the chairs to be less austere than what she already had. I wanted the patients to feel safe plus more like guests than patients. I found two plush leather chairs that complimented his, however they weren’t the same. The one leather chair had two soft, overstuffed arms plus was deep enough that if it was a young person, they could tuck their legs underneath plus be comfortable. It had a very nice headrest so they could lean back plus relax. The other chair was a little less comfy, however nice for an adult who was oversized. When I showed Doc the pictures of the leather chairs I had found, she smiled. Doc said I found exactly what she needed, even if it wasn’t what she thought she wanted. When the leather chairs were in the office, Doc was even more content with my suggestion. Doc then asked if I could find a leather sofa that would be just as aesthetically pleasing as the new chairs.
