My mom’s place is a couple of miles away from the river and a lot of moisture collects in that part of the county… It rains almost every single afternoon. I went to visit my Dad and have lunch at her place and I noticed that it was very moderate inside of the house. I asked my Dad if the air conditioner was working well and she said that it seemed to be fine, but she told me that I was used to having it cold in my apartment and she can’t afford to keep the air conditioner on 73°. It actually felt moderate inside of the house, especially in the back room where my Dad watches tv. I could not find a thermometer in my truck, however I bet it was actually 5 or 10° warmer at the back of the house. I told my Dad that I would pay the difference, whatever the amount was and she still tried to protest. I hooked up the air conditioner and I turned it on, when she felt the cool air in that room, she decided to let me keep the air conditioner in the window… My wifey was actually cheerful that my pal and I had room, because that old air conditioner was taking up space in our garage. My good friend and I finally had room to store some other things that were laying outside.
