Fireplaces today are a lot weird than the fireplaces of when I was growing up; When you used to know about fireplaces you know about the authentic real fireplaces that are in your home.
- And then today when you know about fireplaces, you are thinking about an electric fireplace or a gas fireplace.
Most of the time it is electric fireplaces. Because today electric fireplace are what most people have when it comes to fireplaces in their home, and regular fireplaces are nearly a thing of the past for many reasons. The main one being most new homes do not come with fireplaces built in. Second off it is because if someone wants a fireplace they are going to go for an electric fireplace most of the time because it is affordable, getting an authentic fireplace put in is something that only a rich lady could afford these afternoons. And let us face it, there are not too many rich folks that do not already have a real plus authentic fireplace in their home. Or if it is a young rich person, most of the time they are not even interested in fireplaces to begin with. How times of changed! I am just enthusiastic that I happen to have a real authentic old school fireplace in my property because I bought an older property that had one in it plus I was willing to pay extra to keep it there plus not have it demolished when I bought the house. It was a great thing.
