When I saw the color and quality of the new shirts, I was ready to dissolve our partnership
My business partner and I don’t agree on a lot of business related ideas, so it’s a good thing that the two of us can work separately as individuals. My business partner is a 50% partner in the HVAC commercial repair business that I bought last year. The business has been doing really well and my partner has been trying to give me more input. The better the business does, the more he wants to feel like he is a part of everything that is happening. We had a meeting with all of the staff and one of the things that was mentioned was uniforms. We haven’t had new uniforms in a long time and I thought it might be a good idea to have a fresh and new look. I spoke with a company in town that is locally owned and operated and I plan to have the company make all of the new shirts for the HVAC commercial repair business. My business partner had a different idea. The guy got a deal from an online distributor and decided to switch the order at the last minute. He thought we were going to save a bundle and decided that I would be happy with the decision. When I saw the color and quality of the new shirts, I was ready to dissolve our partnership. The color of the shirt is too green and our logo was misspelled. I made my business partner buy every single one of the shirts to reimburse the company for the loss. He never should have changed the order without talking to me first.
