Working at the mall during the summer season is hell.
There are teenagers all over the place and no parents to watch them.
I constantly have to keep my eyes open for thieves. Teenagers will try to put anything in their pocket if they think they’re going to get away with it. I catch 10 or 12 kids every week trying to put something in their pocket. When I have a day off, I prefer to go to the beach. The beach is my favorite place to go when I don’t have to worry about work. I went to the beach last Monday and I stayed out in the sun all day. I made sure to apply some tanning lotion every other hour so I would get good sun and no burn. I fell asleep on the beach for an hour or two, but I was underneath a tent and it did not affect my tanning. When I was done with the beach, I got into my car and turned on the AC. I turned on the AC to the maximum setting and there was barely any air coming out of the vents. There was definitely air conditioning in my car when I drove to the beach, but there was no cold air coming out of the vents when I left. I drove right from the beach to my dad’s house. He is about 15 minutes in the opposite direction of my place, but I knew he would be able to diagnose and repair the problems with the AC unit. My dad is a jack of all trades. The guy can fix anything.
