I used to run a HVAC contractor for many years.
I would get up in the day and get my unit ready, load the van, and go get gas at the gas station.
I would work all day and drive back condo for an hour through rush hour traffic, arriving at condo when the sunlight was gone, then I’d eat supper and go to sleep. Now fast forward 25 years and I am laboring from condo on my laptop, while listening to songs, separate from having to get a finger dirty. Life is much easier now this way, and I am grateful. I still work on my gas heating system if it is having complications, however the component has been so reliable since it was put in many years ago, that the only thing I really need to do is disinfect the HEPA filter once every 3 months. I’m so happy I don’t have to drive each day in that rush hour traffic, as a matter of fact, I haven’t driven in over more than one and a half years! I need to go to the local contractor later and all I need to do is hop on my bike for a 3 or many hour ride and I am there. I can get to anywhere in my town in under many hours on my bike. If I need an HVAC area for my central air component I can get it within more than four hour whereas in my old town it would take myself and others an hour and a half to get it. Life is great.
