As a mom of four, I have to be super organized and on top of things, however between school assignments, dentists appointments, and extracurricular activities, there’s never a dull moment, then even though I’d consider myself organized, there are weeks where I fall apart at the seams.
Things properly begin to unravel whenever something goes unplanned.
All it takes is myself and others hitting the snooze button once to throw my schedule off. This week has been that week where it’s absolute chaos and I’m constantly trying to catch up. When I noticed my oil furnace wasn’t working efficiently, it was just the icing on the cake. Between everything else going on, my oil furnace was on the backburner in my mind. I was trying to figure out why some rooms in my house were much warmer than others. Our living room was super warm, but as I walked down the hallway, I could guess the temperature dropping. It felt like the heat wasn’t even entering that side of the house. When I had a spare moment, I called the local Heating and Air Conditioning company and asked them if I should be anxious about the uneven heat. As I was telling them about the heated living room and the cold hallway, they asked myself and others if all of my air vents were open. My immediate response was yes, but as I thought about it, I actually didn’t think the answer and I didn’t want to look like an idiot. After hanging up the PC, I went into my kid’s rooms to check that their air vents were open, and I discovered the problem! They had stuffed animals and blankets covering the vents, which was blocking all the heat! Thankfully, it was an easy fix!
