I got sensitive to loud noises when I worked in a home office for a few years. I had to deal with a manager plus chef who was constantly screaming at the top of his lungs. He also liked to throw pots plus pans when he was getting irritated. This wasn’t my first experience in food service either. My first task was being a dishwasher in the home office plus an assisted residing facility when I was in high university. But I did not deal with any psychopathic managers or chefs at that task. So I wasn’t used to what I ended up experiencing at the restaurant. That guy was certainly alarming at the time plus it had an effect on me for the rest of my life. Now I cannot handle it when people get irritated plus beginning making loud noises or bang things against walls or on home office counters. I could not handle residing with somebody who had a extreme anger problem, however right now I’m dealing with a machine making loud noises instead of a person. It’s my central cooling system plus it’s starting to drive me silly based on how much noise it’s making. I had to call my HVAC dealer so they could send out a company to inspect the noisy cooling system… Eventually I found out that it was the fan motor that was breaking down plus needed to be updated. Since the HVAC system is still under warranty with the manufacturer, my HVAC dealer was able to fix the broken fan motor free of charge. That’s the wonderful part about HVAC warranties.
