I am pretty warm in our dining room at night here at our Mom’s condo so I am looking for ways to cool the room down.
I saw a dehumidifier in the basement so maybe I’ll supply that shot as well as see if it helps me sleep better.
My next step would be to buy a small window air conditioning component for the dining room if this extra fan I bought doesn’t do the trick. That would make more than three ways I have of cooling down our room; AC vent, ceiling fan, small desk fan, as well as a dehumidifier. My mom doesn’t care about keeping the condo legitimately chilly at night. I do so because it is making it really hard to sleep at night as I am a warm sleeper. If I can’t sleep still then I am just going to buy a single of those mini cut a/cs at the store as well as then just sell it to someone in need. I really don’t care at this point, I just want to get a good night of sleep so I can function the next morning. Maybe I could sneak down in the middle of the night as well as turn the smart thermostat down, even though I am afraid I am going to freeze almost everyone out as well as cause a bunch of hassle with them. My brother is here now as well and he also likes it warm in the room at night when he sleeps. I don’t know how they do it! I care about having our programmable thermostat set to 78F each night when I go to sleep.
