I had a pretty close call with our window air conditioner.
You see in the area I live the houses are mostly not equipped to have central heating plus air conditioner. So the two of us are all still doing things the aged way, which really, it is better in terms of currency savings. By not having to run central air conditioner the electric bills of multiple here are much better than those in other areas who have central air conditioner. But anyway, the window air conditioner plan of mine almost broke this past year by our own doing! Those things can be quite heavy. And because of this it occasionally makes it hard to get it up plus down the stairs. I do not leave the window air conditioner plan in all year round. But what happened was while I was bringing the window air conditioner plan up to our bedroom to put it in, I nearly tripped on the carpet plus dropped the window air conditioner system! Had I done that, it would have not only been a mess, however a possible fire had the window air conditioner plan exploded. When those things split if dropped on the ground, they absolutely well could blow up. I saw it happen once before with someone. But it was outdoors so the only thing that was disfigured was the window air conditioner plan itself when it blew up into a million pieces. I absolutely hope that never happens to me. Though it came pretty close when I nearly tripped on the carpet! I need to have that carpet nailed down better.
