I cannot believe that I made the mistake of buying a house without air conditioning.
I honestly don’t know what I was thinking.
I had air conditioning in the last house that I lived in, and I guess I did not know how good I had it. I looked for a house for a long time, and I think I just sort of gave up and bought one that I probably should not have. It is a nice house and all, but it doesn’t have air conditioning, and it certainly was not what I was looking for as far as layout and size are concerned. I may end up moving again which I really don’t want to do, but this house just isn’t mine forever home. I know that I will at least stay here for the summer, so I bought two window air conditioning units. I put one air conditioner in the downstairs hallway, and I put the second air conditioner in the upstairs hallway. I tried them in a few different spots to see where the best place to put them would be, and the hallways seem to be the answer. Even though the hallways are the best places for the air conditioners, they still are not able to cool the entire house. They don’t cool even close to the entire house. I was actually thoroughly disappointed in them. I am used to having central air conditioning throughout the entire house, so these two little window air conditioning units just aren’t cutting it for me. I am trying to be content for now, but I have to say that it is not easy.
