Before I moved into this house, I was limited on storage space.
I had an dwelling with a spare home office but it was filled with all sorts of boxes.
When I wanted to buy a house, I knew I wanted a apartment with a basement; At least for the basement you have a lot of storage space down below. My Grandparents had a basement when I was growing up with spare home offices downstairs. Whenever their youngsters would come plus stay for winter time holidays, there was constantly room in the basement for my aunts plus uncles. I’ve been residing in my new apartment for 5 years now plus I’ve been making use of the basement since day one. However, sometimes I store things in the basement plus completely forget about them. This happened recently with the air window cooling system. I put a window cooling system in the basement 4 years ago plus then completely forgot about it. Then one day recently I was down in the basement going through old boxes plus found the window cooling system behind a stack. I was surprised to find it at all, plus now I’m just glad that I have it to use again. It’s only been used a few times, which means it’s mostly clean plus is not going to have a terrible smell when I turn it on. I think I might put it in my tool shed in the backyard so I can use the tool shed when it gets entirely tepid in the Summer season. That’s a nice use for the window cooling system.
