Before I moved into this house, I was limited on storage space. I had an dwelling with a spare family room but it was filled with all sorts of boxes. When I wanted to buy a house, I knew I wanted a house with a basement, then at least for the basement you have a lot of storage space down below. My Grandparents had a basement when I was growing up with spare family rooms downstairs. Whenever their teenagers would come and stay for winter season holidays, there was constantly room in the basement for my aunts and uncles. I have been living in my current house for 5 years now and I have been making use of the basement since day one. However, sometimes I store things in the basement and completely forget about them. This happened recently with the air window air conditioning. I put a window air conditioning in the basement 4 years ago and then completely forgot about it. Then one day recently I was down in the basement going through seasoned boxes and found the window air conditioning behind a stack. I was surprised to find it at all, and now I’m just cheerful that I have it to use again. It’s only been used a few times, which means it’s mostly scrub and is not going to have a bad aroma when I turn it on. I suppose I might put it in my tool shed in the backyard so I can use the tool shed when it gets easily warm in the summer time season. That’s a good use for the window air conditioning.
