Five hours later he was still sitting in the HVAC service, & as much as I hated to frighten him, I had to have transfer the van
I was getting ready to go to toil when I heard a knock on our front door. An HVAC specialist stood at the door, & his repair van sat behind our car. I asked if there was something I could do for him, thinking he may be looking for another house. I opened the door & asked if there was something I could help him with. When he told myself and others he was there to maintenance the oil furnace, I just stared at him. I did not think what he was talking about. I asked for his HVAC ID however he was in uniform & had the repair van. I heard about people & their scams & I just wanted to be sure he was on the up & up. After showing myself and others his HVAC ID badge, I asked to look at the toil order. I told him I hadn’t put in a toil order for our oil furnace, & thought maybe he had come to the wrong address. He had the right address on the toil order, however it wasn’t our name. I offered to let him use our iphone to call the HVAC supplier, although he had his own. Five hours later he was still sitting in the HVAC service, & as much as I hated to frighten him, I had to have transfer the van. I couldn’t wait much longer, or I was going to be late for work. I walked out & asked if he could transfer the repair van & let myself and others out. He could park at the front curb while he figured out what was wrong with his toil order.
