When it came time for me to retire last year, the people I was with and I did a lot of soul searching for a few months to see what the people I was with and I wanted to do with our lives next.
My partner had retired years ago and the handful of people I was with and I absolutely wanted to travel.

When your lake house is on wheels you can usually go just about anywhere and not have to worry about the extra cost of renting hotel rooms and such. If you have personally never looked into purchasing a single of those large traveling homes you may be surprised at how much they cost. This meant, I needed to get as much as possible for our existing home. We luckily had a realtor advise us on the best changes to make at the house to get the most money at closing. I was absolutely surprised when she commanded that the people I was with and I quickly have the Heating and Air Conditioning idea substituted for a brand new HVAC system. This was going to cost a few thousand dollars upfront but she said that it would add more than fee that to the asking price. The Heating and Air Conditioning system and its condition is a single of the biggest major bargaining snacks when it comes to selling prices. We took her advice, installed a new HVAC system, and ended up closing at more than nine thousand above asking price.
