I am absolutely and totally in love with my new ductless AC unit.
The ductless AC unit is one of the most energy efficient machines that I have ever owned.
I built a small, tiny house out of wood and lumber that I found in the forest behind my parents house. I worked on the project for 3 years while I lived in my parents garage. One of the last things that the house needed was a heating and cooling unit. I really thought about how I was going to put ducting in the small space and that’s why I decided to go with a ductless option. A lot of people said it would be really cheap to buy a window AC and heating unit, but I wanted something that looked nicer and was designed to do the job that I needed. I had 400 ft of area that needed to be properly heated and cool throughout all times of the year. I spoke with a special contractor that told me about ductless AC unit efficiency. I realized it was the perfect system for my application. I worked with a board certified and expert HVAC contractor to install the heating and AC unit in the tiny space. It looks great and it works really well. The AC is so cold that I have to keep the machine set at 75°. It’s a small space and it doesn’t take very long to cool so I imagine the bills are going to be pretty low when I am living on my own.
