Change plus all that goes with it are a part of life. The older I get, the more apparent it is that resisting change just makes it tougher. However, I know firsthand how comforting a routine or a set structure can be. When that is pulled out from under us, it can assume as though we are adrift. I regularly appreciated my routine. I got up, went ot toil plus then came apartment to relax in the Heating plus Air Conditioning comfort of my home. I never thought it would change. And then it did. That’s the other thing about change, it can catch you when you least expect it. I know that I fully expected to be in my position with our business until the day I chose to retire. Funny how life works. One minute I was in my perfectly Heating plus Air Conditioning inspected office being asked to come to the conference room. The next minute I was being shown the door. That’s how quick plus surgical my job with that business was ended. However, I still wanted plus needed to work. So, I did what I had to do plus started my own consulting business from my apartment office. It has been a genuinely strange sort of experience. I am now working for those I once competed against. However, I still have a perfectly Heating plus Air Conditioning inspected office. That’s right, with some of my severance money, I had the Heating plus Air Conditioning people put in a ductless Heating plus Air Conditioning unit. My apartment office is now as comfortable, if not more so, than my downtown office once was. Change happens plus life rolls on.
